I started getting this android is starting....optimizing apps 1 of 1. after reading this thread, i found the problem to be zedge. i've used this app for about 6 years, then a recent forced update started causing the error, making my phone take about 15 minutes to boot. i uninstalled zedge and got rid of the problem.. "android is upgrading, and afterwards it came optimizing application 1 of 158", later came as starting apps then tecno will come and the upgrading starts again for more than 24 hours. i need a solution to stop it and have access to the phone. i cant do anything with the phone so please give me the right solution. This is accurate, and mine was not any of the apps previously mentioned (my fitness pal), but i checked the battery and it had the most use directly after starting. i uninstalled it and now my phone starts without any 'optimizing'. thanks!.
